This year's symposium and AGM will take place in London on Saturday 5th October. 

Venue: Brunei Gallery Lecture Theatre, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), Thornhaugh Street (off Russell Square), London WC1H 0XG. 

Timings: Registration from 09:15. Symposium from 10:15-17.00.

Programme: panels will be on the following subjects:

• The current humanitarian and political situation in Sudan
  • we are hoping the speakers will include a representative from the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office
• The centenary of the 1924 Revolution
• Cultural heritage and film - safeguarding heritage for resilience and renewal
• Education provision

Booking: please try to buy your tickets in advance (on Eventbrite) as we cannot guarantee a place or lunch for those who register on the day. Those who do book tickets in advance should still register when they arrive on 5th October please.
